Galvanic therapy

How does Galvanic work?

Galvanic technology has been used in spas and beauty salons for 50 years. This advanced technology is based on positive and negative forces working to create a magnet like effect.

The positively charged Fyola Galvanic device, attracts negatively charged toxins and impurities, and carries them away. The deepest layers of the skin are then cleared from all the dirt: this is the desincrustation.

The Fyola Galvanic device and the Toner Gel are both positively charged. These positive forces repulse each other, pushing key nutrients deep into the skin. This increase in absorption ensures that nutrients penetrate deeper and more effectively. In this way, positive force aids in removing wrinkles and plumping the skin. This process is called Iontophorisis.

Discover How Galvanic Therapy can Help You

Clean Your Skin Like Never Before

Galvanic Treatment works to improve blood flow and lymphatic drainage in the areas it is applied on. This helps the skin cleanse itself naturally. Moreover, if you’re dealing with impurities, the ions used in this treatment neutralize them. It also increases circulation and exfoliates.

Really Feed Your Skin

The Fyola is used with a water gel that is meant to feed your skin. What the Galvanic treatment does for you is it pushes in this gel, passed the protective layer of the skin.

What does this mean?
It means that you won’t have to worry that the skin product will end up sitting on the top of the skin instead of penetrating it.
How does this treatment achieve this?
The galvanic treatment uses positive charges that push the positively charged gel deeper into the skin.

Tighten Your Muscles

The alternation between positively and negatively charged ions makes your muscles contract and expand rhythmically, which helps them keep their elasticity. This means that you won’t be dealing with those bothersome things known as wrinkles.

Galvanic Treatments and Spas

Galvanic treatments can also be found in spas, where the price can reach up to 80 dollars per session. These sessions vary in length of time, from 15 minutes up to one or two hours.

There is nothing that you need to do before or after the treatment. However, keep in mind that you will need to undergo around 4 treatments before seeing any results.

How is Microdermabrasion Different from Galvanic Therapy?

Microdermabrasion is also used for improving skin by taking away dead cells and repairing it. Unlike galvanic therapy, however, microdermabrasion results in redness, as it essentially involves removing the outermost layer of the skin. You may also run the risk of getting an infection is the tools used are not sterilized, particularly since your skin is more sensitive because of the treatment.

Is Galvanic Treatment Safe for You?

This type of treatment has been used in the entire world for over a decade, without creating any issues. The reason why it is very safe for you to use it is that its current is extremely low, which means that it will not over stimulate your tissues.

That being said, if you have circulation issues, metal plates or pins, or are pregnant, you must ask your doctor about using this type of treatment.
